One year after Hurricane Helene caused widespread damage across the Carolinas, South Carolina’s Office of Resilience has opened four new offices — including one in downtown Spartanburg — to help with long-term recovery.
The Region 2 office now serves residents in Spartanburg, Laurens, Union, Chester, York, and Cherokee counties. Services include disaster case management, financial aid, housing help, and emotional support. Walk-ins are welcome, and mobile intake events are also available.
