A former teacher assistant has filed a lawsuit against Spartanburg County School District 5 and the superintendent, claiming wrongful termination. According to court documents, the assistant, who worked at River Ridge Elementary, says she was fired over a Facebook post quoting conservative commentator Charlie Kirk on the Second Amendment.
