A 65-year-old Spartanburg man is behind bars after being accused of stealing over $274,000 from a nursing home resident. Authorities say Gregory Lewis Drummond used forged documents to withdraw the funds from the victim’s account in 2024. The victim is classified as a vulnerable adult under South Carolina law and lived in a care facility at the time. Drummond is now facing charges of exploiting a vulnerable adult and forgery.
