The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office has unveiled its new Mobile Command Post 2 — a high-tech, compact mobile unit designed to help investigators process crime scenes more efficiently and privately. Equipped with surveillance cameras, radios, whiteboards, and workspace essentials, this new unit allows deputies to conduct investigations on-site, rain or shine. The vehicle improves both privacy and efficiency during major cases and can be deployed across all terrains. Funding for the mobile command unit came from state-level public safety allocations, making it the largest such investment by Representative Don Chapman to date.
