The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that happened in Greenwood County on Bypass 25 near US 25 South. Authorities say a pickup truck traveling southbound struck a pedestrian around 9 PM. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured. Officials have not yet released the identity of the victim, and the investigation remains ongoing.
