🔹 A Union man, 55-year-old Michael Knox, is facing four counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Investigators say he distributed child sexual abuse material. The arrest was prompted by an online tip, according to the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
🔹 The AG also says an online group is responsible for the recent swatting hoax at the University of South Carolina. The August 24th incident falsely reported an active shooter, prompting a full campus lockdown for hours. Authorities now say the false report was traced to a group that admitted its actions in an interview.
