Clemson homeowners say game day parking chaos is turning their quiet neighborhoods into unregulated lots. Residents near the Clemson Tigers stadium are putting up “No Parking” signs and roping off their yards after repeated incidents of out-of-state fans parking on private property without permission—sometimes even staying overnight. One neighbor says they had to confront fans who didn’t apologize or leave until Sunday.
City leaders acknowledge the complaints but say the LSU game brought unusually large crowds, and they don’t anticipate the same level of disruption for the rest of the season. Clemson Police Chief Jorge Campos explains that towing is up to the homeowner if someone parks illegally on private property. WSPA’s Lauren Miller has the full story.
