One of the two Greenville County Sheriff’s Office deputies injured in a SWAT training accident has returned to work on light duty, officials confirmed. The incident, which happened last month, involved a breaching round from a shotgun that accidentally struck both deputies. While one continues to recover, the sheriff’s office says new safety policies have been implemented, and the investigation is ongoing.
