A man is dead after a deputy-involved shooting in Greenville County. The sheriff’s office says deputies responded to a call about a trespasser on Steagall Circle Sunday afternoon. When they arrived, the suspect reportedly armed himself with a weapon, prompting one deputy to fire. The man later died at the hospital. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is investigating.
