📍 Developing in Pickens County: Three people have been arrested for allegedly embezzling a significant amount of money from Liberty High School’s Red Devil Athletic Booster Club, according to the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say the investigation began after a routine financial review by the School District of Pickens County revealed missing funds. Among the accused is the former treasurer, who investigators say used the funds for personal gain. Two additional suspects have also been charged as co-conspirators in the breach of trust investigation.
