🚧 The South Carolina Department of Transportation is unveiling a new traffic plan to reduce congestion and car accidents at one of Spartanburg County’s busiest intersections — Reidville Road and Anderson Mill Road.
Between 2019 and 2021, over 100 crashes were reported at this intersection, and SC DOT says the current traffic volume is 30,000 cars per day. Proposed changes include eliminating left turns, adding a U-turn lane for large vehicles, new traffic signals, sidewalks, and re-routing traffic using Oak Grove Road.
