The Upstate Renaissance Fair is back for its fifth year—and it’s bigger than ever! Now held in a new, larger location in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the fair features over 100 vendors, live jousting tournaments, sword makers, fairy-themed headpieces, mermaids in a tank, and even unicorn rides.
Organizer Sharon Murry says the event, which began as a way to help people recover from the pandemic, has grown into one of the most anticipated community festivals in the region.
