A deputy-involved shooting is under investigation in Spartanburg County after a man allegedly confronted a deputy with a large kitchen knife. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Bridgeford Lane. The man was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, while the deputy was not injured.
