From the ringing of bells in New York City to a presidential moment of silence at the Pentagon, the country paused to remember nearly 3,000 lives lost in 2001.<\/p>\n<p>At Ground Zero, the names of every victim were read aloud, while in Pennsylvania, a memorial honored the brave passengers and crew of United Flight 93. At the Pentagon, President Trump and the First Lady joined families to pay tribute to the 184 people killed there.<\/p>\n<p>The New York Fire Department also added 39 more names to the World Trade Center memorial wall\u2014first responders who died from 9\/11-related illnesses.
