Most of his friends in San Diego didn&#8217;t know that he was a DJ at KDES Palm Springs back in the 70&#8217;s. At KDES Lee became the Chief Engineer and never looked back. Probably a good choice since he didn&#8217;t have the usual jock voice. But here are some rare tapes I made of him on the air back in the day. If Lee couldn&#8217;t squeeze in a punchline before the vocal he just kept plowing on. Enjoy.
